We are a family run online bookstore, based in Billingham, Cleveland, UK, located near the picturesque nature reserve of Billingham Beck Valley.
Our passion for books started many years ago, we love books and constantly went to as many locations as we could to find more books for our ever expanding collection. From many visits to the beautiful Northumberland, filled with lovely old bookshops, our dream started of owning our own bookshop. Sharing this passion to other book readers seemed the next best possible step and the Beck Valley Books website became a reality.
Finding hard to find titles, unusual titles, lovely old books and even modern titles was a booklovers dream......There's nothing better than holding a lovely old book in your hands, knowing it has its own unique history.
We now have thousands of used, rare and out of print books in stock, all competitively priced. In order to help buying over the internet our postage has been charged for the weight of your total order, rather than per book, in the hope of saving you money. All our books are sent with a free Beck Valley Books bookmark.
We hope you like enjoy browsing our website and especially enjoy reading your books.
Why not visit our closest Book Fair, held at Bedale. You will find rare, out of print books and a vast number of postcards from over 35 sellers. Dates of the book fair and more information can be found at http://www.bedalebookfair.co.uk/
You can find out much more information on authors and books at wikipedia
